I was just looking at some internet stuff about the big game and watched an interesting video from the White House wherein Condeleeza Rice refused to answer questions at a press conference then, when asked who would win the Superbowl, turned around quickly and got very animated. at least we have our priorities right at the highest office in the land. politics and entertainment are so intertwined these days, I wasn’t surprised at all to read the plan for choosing the democratic candidate for 2008: Barack and Hillary are going to sing “Islands in the Stream” together and then America will vote. let’s hope the right one stays in key.
I’m rooting for Peyton tomorrow. I have enjoyed watching the Bears this season and certainly Buddy Ryan (defensive coordinator for the 1985 team) has contributed well to the NFL (one of his sons works for the Raiders) but I indentify with Peyton’s need to “silence the crowd” once and for all. It’s a struggle here in LA to even get on the field, so when a player is deemed one who will “never play in the big game” finally gets to the Superbowl he’s my guy.
